Deaf and Hard-Of-Hearing

Services for families who have a deaf or hard-of-hearing (DHH) child, who are under the age of 3 years, are served through the LIFT Program at Cameron School. LIFT stands for Learning with Infants and Families Together. Many children and their families come to us through the California New Born Hearing Screening Program; however, sometimes a hearing concern is discovered a bit later. At LIFT, we work with families to help them learn about their child’s development, language acquisition, audiology, and resources available in our communities.
