Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! It has been quite the summer for us, and this school year begins Monday, Aug. 17 like no other year. Thanks to students, families, teachers, school principals, staff, and community partners, we begin the year with a community-driven virtual/distancing learning plan.

I am proud to report that the district and the bargaining unit representing teachers and other certificated staff reached a tentative agreement on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) Friday evening that sets expectations for educators and outlines the distance learning environment for students and families for when instruction resumes on August 17.

As anticipated the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and North Coast Section (NCS) delayed the start date for athletics until at least December due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I hope that you are having a safe and restful summer. Today, as promised, we submitted the Back to School Vision & Framework to the Contra Costa County Office of Education. As we shared on July 9, the 2020-21 school year will begin in a distance learning format when instruction resumes on Monday, August 17.

Welcome to the Cameron School Website
Cameron School is home
to the WCCUSD Early Intervention Program. It houses the LIFT (Learning for
Infants and Families Together) team for infants to 3 year olds, and the Cameron
Preschool Support Team for preschoolers, ages 3-5. The program philosophy is based
on early identification and intervention.
